Mirela is a certified European psychotherapist and lecturer in the field of integrative psychotherapy for children, young people and adults.
She is a lecturer in teaching in the field of psychotherapy counselor at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Zenica. The specialty is child and adolescent psychiatry. She spent most of her working life as head of the Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the Psychiatric Clinic of the University of Sarajevo.
According to her educational orientation, she belongs to the School of Psychodynamic Orientation. Works on support, counseling and psychotherapy treatments of parents and teachers, as well as treatments of children of young and adult through individual therapy, couples therapy.
Organizes and runs workshops for personal growth and development. She is an expert in teaching in the field of psychotherapy counselor for children and youth at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Zenica.
