In essence, Trump is reinterpreting the 14th Amendment to the U. Constitution which grants citizenship to ALL people born in the United States while excluding babies born to parents illegally in the country.
This executive order is one of several targeted to impact illegal immigrants in America. At last count on the day after his inaugural, Colorado and 23 other states had already sued his action.
