Nikova Banks is the second child and only daughter of Gabriel Torrance , only child of Lucinda Evers , and the younger half-sister of Damon Torrance. She is the female protagonist in Hideaway , and married to Kai Mori.
Banks is described to be smart, loyal, honest, no-nonsense, blunt, and stubborn. Banks is a fighter but she also is insecure as she never attended high school. She is not easily scared or pushed around. Her strength is evident when she stands up to Kai and his friends, refusing to betray Damon.
Banks is described to have long dark brown hair, a slender face, full lips, golden skin, and green eyes with touches of gold. She does not wear makeup, brush hair, or clean fingernails in an attempt to appear less beautiful. Damon generalized in judging, making Banks think he hated her for growing up and becoming a woman.
She hid her body to avoid his eventual hate. That feeling would have been out of case, but she did not know that. When Banks met Damon for the first time, he had two snakes in his bedroom.
He threatened her he would let them bite her. Young and pushed by her fear, she searched information about his snakes and was amazed by what she found. They were completely harmless. He never really put her in any danger.
