At many universities in Germany, it is often easy to communicate in English and therefore not a problem if you do not speak German. In order to better integrate and experience the local community, an adequate knowledge of German will greatly help. The language centres of the university offer a wide range of courses, including German as a foreign language. In small group sessions, you have the possibility to either learn a new language or continue practicing one you already know.
