In the s, Stenum became known as a specialized rehabilitation center for Tuberculosis patients, with a special "sunshine sanatorium". Eventually, in , the hospital became a specialized clinic for orthopedics. Today, more than a thousand international patients have placed their trust in the hands of our skilled surgeons. Special Clinic for Orthopedics is an orthopedic hospital serving the local german community as well as international patients. The Hospital has 51 beds and staff.
