I bought a state park pass which proved to be a good deal. Every employee I encountered in the state parks was helpful and friendly. Several beginners bike trails. Fishing and boating at the lake. Great family area with picnic tables and playground.
Nice beach area. Extremely nice staff always willing to do more for you to enjoy your stay. Large rig drive though. Each campsite has a covered area. Restrooms are clean and maintained. Visitation parking in each campsite loop. All sites have FHU. There is fishing and wildlife galore. We saw deer, pigs, chickens and lots of fish!!!! It is a bit eclectic but the owner is a very kind elderly gentleman who goes out of his way to make you feel at home.
