Get yourself to the old town and new town in the European side of Istanbul on Day 1 and 2, then grab a ferry over to the markets on the Asian side for Day 3. Finish up with a traditional Istanbul hammam or a self-guided walking tour on Day 4. Transport to Taksim or Kadikoy districts are possible with Havabus. Our provider of choice for this trip was Vodafone. You can pick a SIM card up much cheaper outside the airport, but we were happy to pay and grab it on arrival.
