KELO — An animal rescue organization in Sioux Falls needs your help finding the person who abandoned three newborn puppies in a dumpster over the weekend. The puppies were rescued by a good samaritan and are now in foster care, but they have a long road ahead of them.
Two Sioux Falls chefs receive prestigious nomination. Almost Home Canine Rescue founder Katie Day says the three puppies, whose names are Bo, Birdie, and Brody are about 10 days old and are now being bottle-fed and kept warm by a good foster family. Day has been rescuing dogs and puppies for seven years. She wants whoever dumped these puppies to be found and charged with animal cruelty.
Days says it was senseless for someone to dump Bo, Birdie, and Brody because there are plenty of organizations like hers that are willing to help. If you know something about the puppies or who abandoned them, you are asked to contact law enforcement. Click here. Copyright Nexstar Media, Inc.
