The 6-foot senior right-hander pitched a complete-game, five-hitter as Arlington captured its first River Valley League title with a victory over La Sierra on Tuesday. Senior pitcher Jesse Espinoza was sharp until the fourth for the Eagles , , who needed to win both games against Arlington this week to have a shot at sharing the RVL title. The two teams complete their regular seasons with a final matchup Friday.
They have some dudes and a solid approach. Juan Jimenez added an RBI single for Arlington in the fifth for a lead, and that was more than enough cushion for Khasaempanth, who allowed a run in the bottom of fifth but was able to rely on his defense to help finish the job.
