The centre has impressive separate junior, toddler and baby soft play areas including one of the highest indoor slides of its kind in the UK and birthday party rooms that are also used for various other creative activities. My partner and i have tried many different play centres around Birmingham and decided to try Hickory Dickory's for the first time 2 weeks ago.
I personally found it to be one of the best we have been to yet! Plus they have plenty of seating for adults inside the soft play area.
In the junior area i was supprised to find that toddlers could also go in as long as they were accompanied by an adult my partner relished in this as he is indeed a big kid himself but often can't go in with our 4 year old! The area included trampolines, really big slides, 2 see-through bottom box platforms if you dare! The decor was really nice and child friendly and the party rooms looked really appealing. The seating area was really large and spacious and i could easily keep an eye on the kids.
We will definitly take the children back - espcially as you get a little card stamped with each entry and once you have 10 stamps you get one entry free. Especially good if you have a large family.
This play area is filthy, floors dirty, seats stained and smelly. Music played very inappropriate for children. Staff appear fed up and not very motivated. Food area dirty and plastic plates etc scratched and food ingrained in scratched. Clearly maximum financial gain with little put back in. Now the food. What we had today; ummmm let's see. And the the vege pasta - was overcooked and looked like a one year old's sick.
