Thoroughly enjoyed. The venue is spectacular and the quality of the production was amazing. These concerts are always phenomenal. The quartet is so talented and make the show so fun. The outside is best but inside was very enjoyable as well. Highly recommend them. Matt and the boys were fabulous as always. Also the bar should have been closed before the performers took the stage to stop people taking their seats when the performance had started. Otherwise excellent renditions of all the the individual pieces of music.
Music and atmosphere was great as always. However the seating at Llandaff was the worst seating I've had for one of these events. The seats were incredibly cramped, touching thighs with strangers, and if you aren't in the front row you can't see any of the performance because it's so tight knit. Such a shame but otherwise lovely as always. So beautiful. The musicians are so talented and I like the way they connect with the audience.
The music was sublime and sounded amazing in the cathedral. The dancer was also incredible which added to the experience. I will certainly be attending more of these. Wasn't sure what to expect but the whole thing was great. Well worth it! Would recommend! Disappointed to see the stringed instruments were microphone.
Would have been better using the natural acoustic as in Vivaldi's time. Absolutely gutted to have to look for the entrance, took 15 - 20mins to looking, coming across from raffles city. There was no sign around chimjes : I miss the first 5 songs. The pianist played a important role in the play. As the songs is all slow type, the program should set that is the chorus part not the whole song, it became boring.
Not much interaction also. I love the cozy and warm that the concert creates, but I would expect more than that. Majority candle in my session is low battery, so it was not light. I thought the experience was great but I feel like it would have been even better if the church was dark and the sound was louder.
