Two pittie boys were surrendered to Baldwin Park Shelter months apart by different guardians. Both battled prostate cancer. Their love stories were written by two foster families, who stepped up when they needed them most, who had no idea they would ultimately be their final families.
He got along with everyone and was up for anything. Even though he was sick, he enjoyed his life up to the last day. At random times he would want to play with toys or beg for pets.
He always loved getting in the car and was just as happy if we were just going to the park near my house or to the dog beach or back up to Frosted Faces. He was so gentle when taking treats and he was learning to love cuddling. He also loved steak! I miss kissing his big cheeks and watching him trot around the yard.
He didn't always show it but he was so full of love. I feel lucky that I got to spend a couple of months with his sweet soul. Thank you for giving me that opportunity by saving his life, and for taking such good care of him when he was on site. I love that he got to go paddleboarding and that you discovered that he liked to play with the hose water!
