But the UK Border Agency received a further tip-off earlier this year that Chinese women were still at the house. It was reported men were seen loitering in the hallways and entering and leaving at all times of the day and night.
Immigration crime team officers, along with West Midlands and Warwickshire Police officers, visited the house again on August 3 and found two Chinese women. Officers say the women left the house of their own accord and the property was secured once it was empty. The brothel closure order denies entry to the property to anyone other than the leaseholder for an initial three months.
Access even for the leaseholder is only granted by prior arrangement with the UK Border Agency or the police. On August 12 Nuneaton magistrates granted the closure order in accordance with the Sexual Offences Act Immigration checks on the two Chinese woman found by officers on August 3 showed that both had the right to remain in the UK.
