Welcome to Sundance School of Riding. We are a schooling facility located in the heart of horse country at Arvada Indoor Equestrian Center, dedicated in teaching the fundamentals to the vast array of equine studies.
We are not a boarding facility, as we are focused on providing a relaxing, fun and safe, learning environment, for horse care and riding lessons in both English and Western disciplines, summer camps, equine assisted activities, and overall horsemanship.
We have Summer Camps for ages 7 and up and we teach all riding levels for ages 9 and up in all-year-round semi-private lessons; horses and tack provided. We have helmets to rent for an additional charge. We have set up online payments for your convenience. If you are able to pay for your lesson before arriving to the facility, we encourage you to pay through our Venmo account mikia-parker. In these semi-private lessons for ages 9 and up, our goal is to teach the entire process of getting their school horse ready, riding, and then care for horse after their ride. When first learning this process, half of our lesson will be spent learning safety on the ground and the other half riding. Once the instructor and students are comfortable with the students tacking up with only little supervision, we will spend the majority of our lesson working on the horse.
