The Port of Wilmington has a new Leica Microscope that will make it easier to identify potential pests in imported produce and agricultural products.
This capability will reduce the process from days to hours! The new Reefer Service Area opened this week, adding six canopy-covered service lanes and three empty wash stations directly next to the Port of Wilmington's refrigerated container yard. This upgrade streamlines traffic patterns for our truck drivers while improving turn times.
