To better enhance the care of our older adult patients, Care New England Medical Group CNEMG with the support of the Integra care team, has launched an innovative ambulatory practice setting where members can seek their care conveniently and in the community.
This practice was designed to better suit the needs of older adults. All information obtained through the assessment and evaluation in the clinic will be shared with the patient and family as requested by the patient and referring physician. Our primary office, located in Warwick and just down the street from Kent Hospital, includes the following services:. As part of this program, a group room has been outfitted within the practice to be a space for additional programming offerings that will be available to all older adults in the practice as well as to the larger community of practices in CNEMG and Integra.
This space offers nontraditional services to support health and wellness, as well as programming to support those with chronic illnesses. Examples of planned offerings include exercise classes yoga, chair yoga, tai chi , fall prevention and recovery workshops, group visits for certain conditions or for education diabetes management , patient and caregiver education, nutritional programs, and more. Caron has practiced medicine and been licensed in both the United States and Canada and was most recently with Sturdy Memorial Hospital prior to coming to Kent Hospital.
