I started the Reims to Strasbourg special delivery route and ran into two frustrating glitches. First, no escort vehicles spawned. I thought it would be nice to drive a little faster and without the troll AI slamming on the brakes in front of me for no reason.
When I reloaded from last checkpoint, the factory itself, the two escort vans DID spawn at the end of the SteinBruch private road. However, they both started driving at the same time and both positioned themselves in front of me. Since I am not between them, they drive at a speed so slow that is driving me insane.
I tried to overtake the back escort but he speeds up as soon as I overtake him, cutting me off and forcing me into oncoming traffic or the grass. Therefore, I am stuck here. I will keep trying different approaches but Thanks in advance. I have the same glitch. I have also had no spawning escorts in other routes from time to time, but never this where both of them drive in front of me. I'm afraid you're wrong. I tested it in my laptop, no mods, clean install and same problem. Sometimes mods are not at fault for glitchy AI Let me add my vanilla experience then.
On the same route, I took my cargo and before to reach the main road a message warned me to stay in between escort cars, no matter they were not in sight yet.
But when I reached the road, no one was there waiting for me. I simply drove until destination alone and it was, well In case reload from before accepting the job and roll your dices again ;. I know, it's what happened intitally to me. But it's much easier to blame it on mods. Unfortunately the AI Imbeciles loves to smash up your cargo or make it as difficult as possible for you to carry out your assignment. I've tried it several times and it's very annoying.
