WSMV - A Nashville man is facing eight charges of unlawful photography for recording his sexual encounters with women, ages 26 to 33 years old, using a hidden camera in his alarm clock. According to his arrest affidavit, a woman who was dating Vollmer accessed his computer and found a file folder featuring videos of them having sex.
The woman told police that Vollmer gave her his password for the laptop while she was house sitting for him. The woman told police she was unaware that she was being recorded and found the hidden camera in his alarm clock.
Cantwell said she dated Vollmer for three weeks, finding him charming and outgoing. She said he told her he worked in cyber security. A third year law student at Vanderbilt, Cantwell said she got a call from the school, telling her that another woman had contacted the university, looking for a student named Laura who attended an event on campus with a man named Matthew Vollmer.
Cantwell said there are thousands of recorded videos of women who have not all been identified. She is suing him in civil court for 1.
