No Strings Attached is a professional theatre company that proudly works exclusively with disabled performers. In , incredible and diverse Fringe Volunteers contributed a total of 1, hours across the festival, more than half of which have been participating for years. We sat down with two of our Volunteers, Anna Finster and John Wright, who shares why being a Fringe Vollie is an experience like no other.
But beyond the stages and exhibitions, there's a major consideration from the organisation behind the festival to maximise the impact of the audiences and tourism generated as a result of Adelaide Fringe.
This is the second year in a row Adelaide Fringe has taken home gold in the South Australian Tourism Awards, having been awarded gold in both the Major Festivals and Events categories in Inclusion β a word that resonates with us deeply at Adelaide Fringe. The past two years have been a pivotal time in Adelaide Fringe in the ongoing journey of reconciliation as the Innovate Reconciliation Action Plan was developed.
