Jessi Gates is a 5th generation Montanan and was raised with a deep love for this state and the people who live in it. A Licensed Massage Therapist with nearly two decades of experience, she is passionate about holistic wellness, and anyone that has come through our doors will testify to her welcoming nature and sense of humor.
Good Medicine was born out of her desire to bring together exceptionally qualified practitioners to work under a model that provides affordable and accessible pricing for our patients, in an environment that allows deep relaxation and healing. When she takes a break from tending to Good Medicine you can find her outside with her dogs, seeking live music or planning her next trip to almost anywhere, and serves her community as a member of the Board of Directors for the Child Start Head Start program in Missoula, MT.
She is the first to tell you that it is an honor to be able to serve her communites in this way, and thanks to all involved, is truly living her dream. Gavin McClure, a Montana native from Gardiner, grew up surrounded by the beauty of Yellowstone National Park, inspiring a lifelong connection to nature.
He pursued his passion for the environment by earning a degree in Environmental Studies from the University of Montana. In New York, he reconnected with his wife, Angi, and deepened his practice of Qigong and Chinese philosophy, which ultimately led him to the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine in Portland. As a licensed acupuncturist, Gavin specializes in treatments such as moxibustion, herbal medicine, shiatsu, Japanese-style acupuncture, and non-insertive techniques designed for sensitive clients and children.
He is skilled in addressing a wide range of conditions, including musculoskeletal pain, digestive concerns, and respiratory issues, while focusing on the interconnected nature of health. Gavin tailors each treatment to the individual, integrating modalities like acupuncture, moxibustion, herbs, and massage to create lasting health improvements. In addition to patient care, Gavin is the Acupuncture Director at Good Medicine, where he enriches the community through Chinese Medicine workshops and Qigong classes.
