I was born in Manchester, New Hampshire, second oldest of ten children. This stayed with me throughout my childhood years and, while in high school, I made the decision to enter religious life. After the completion of nursing school, I entered the Community in September, Bringing the face of God to those entrusted to our care is such a privilege! I was born in a more rural area of the Joliet diocese - the eldest of 9 children. I attended St.
Mary Carmelite grade school and later St. Patrick's grade school - and Joliet Central High School. My first contact with the Carmelite Sisters was at St. Patrick's Residence when it was in downtown Joliet - I began working as a CNA shift while going to the local college during the day. Meeting some of the sisters and seeing their joy in their ministries to the residents inspired me! I was also interested in Carmelite spirituality. I was received into the order in My other interests have been in animals I got my horsemanship certificate at age 50!
I was born and raised in Vietnam on a large farm. I was the youngest in the family. I took my final vows in I am excited to continue the Mission here at St. Kate joined St. She began her career in senior living working in a variety roles for the last 14 years such as Social Service Director and Nursing Home Administrator.
Kate's passion is to strive for the highest quality of care at St. I was born and raised in Illinois. I am a mother of 2 beautiful kids, Aubree and Jackson. I have been a nurse since working various roles. From a young age I always knew my passion was nursing. I wanted to help care for people, especially the elderly. I knew this would be the perfect home to carry out my nursing journey. My other interests include doing anything outdoors with my family. We love to hike and go camping. Family and Friends is very important to me.
