Home in Namibia on a visit from Canada, I was lucky enough to spend 3 nights at UGFL last week with my mom and sister - what a luxurious spoiling in our beloved Namibian bush. Our rooms were amazing - the outdoor showers being the winner for us!
We loved observing the game from the terrace, enjoyed a wonderful nature drive with an experienced guide and sampled CP's excellent cooking every evening. With only a few rooms available currently, it's worth booking in advance to experience this great lodge and wonderful area of Namibia. It was still quite warm so we definitely appreciated the pool and the air conditioned rooms. Ugab Game Farm and Lodge will forever be in my memories.
From the moment we parked the van everything felt luxurious. Beautifully clean and well kept. We had a luxury room and the outside bath was amazing. To watch the stars in the night sky and rhinos drinking from the water trough, while in a bath is what dreams are made of.
The bed was SO comfortable and the finishing touches in the room just perfect. CP was a host above the rest. His cooking was out of this world. Home cooked food made our stay here that much more special, everything was delicious!
Besides the cooking the hosting and energy CP puts into his lodge is magical. He has the perfect balance of being present and giving space. We as a family miss his friendly face, also his enthusiasm and love for Namibia.
