I'm Leah Anderson. I'm so glad you're here. Before I became a massage therapist, I was feeling really lost. One of my classmates in that program was a massage therapist and talked so highly of her profession and how rewarding it was to work in that field, my interest was sparked. Once starting school for massage myself while living in Connecticut, I realized how much I loved to do work that benefits people in so many ways.
I found a passion for problem solving. About a year after graduating, I moved to California for a few years then made my way back to Connecticut in and started my own practice in It had been a dream of mine to have my own business and I am so pleased I get to share my knowledge and skills with you. I look forward to helping you live pain-free. I also love sewing, knitting and gardening.
Anything that keeps me working with my hands. Because who would have thought massage therapists love to work with their hands! How early should I arrive for my first appointment?
How early should I arrive to each appointment after? For first time clients, I ask that you arrive between minutes before the time you have scheduled. If you filled out the new client intake form online, then you only need to arrive 10 minutes early.
That way we have time to chat a little more about your goals for the session and give you time to get comfortable and settled so that we may start your session right at the time we have scheduled. For all appointments after, I ask you to arrive 10 minutes before the time you have scheduled for your massage. We can go over any changes that you have noticed since your last massage session and allow you to have time to get settled so that way we are starting your massage at the time you have scheduled.
