The mission of Safety and Security is to provide professional and courteous service in order to protect the safety and security of all members of the University community, including students, faculty, and staff who seek a safe learning and working environment.
We strive to achieve this through a community-friendly approach that includes visibility of security personnel, preventive patrols, and easy accessibility. We aspire to carry out our mission in a compassionate manner guided by the following values: respect, integrity, service and excellence. Efforts to keep Humphreys University a safe and non-threatening environment cannot be left solely to Campus Maintenance and Security staff and other University officials.

The goal of the Workplace Violence Prevention Plan WVPP is to support a work environment in which violent or potentially violent situations are effectively addressed with a focus on prevention by increasing employee understanding of the nature of workplace violence, how to respond to it, and how to prevent it.
